Responsibilities: 

 

As  a dispatcher representing  LogiFreight,  he or  she will  be responsible  for   coordinating with  truckers/carriers,    LogiFreight    management,    and    LogiFreight  agents   regarding    requests    for freight  quotes  from customers . 

 

The  dispatcher will be responsible  for  building and nurturing the  company͛s  relationships  with truckers and carriers. 

 

  

 

Tasks: 

 

A  dispatcher͛s  main priority is to be the point  of contact  for truckers/carriers  .   

 

The  dispatcher will be negotiating freight  prices. 

 

The  dispatcher updates ƚŚĞĐŽŵƉĂŶLJ͛Ɛdatabase on trucker/carrier  contact  details  like the  name of  the point-­‐of-­‐contact,  company name,  MC number, number  and types  of  truck in the  fleet and current  routes.     

 

A  LogiFreight  dispatcher will send emails,  fax,  and reply to trucker/carrier queries either  thru 

phone,   fax, or email.   

 

         A  dispatcher will also  coordinate  with  LogiFreight  management regarding  requested quotes 

from customers.     

 

  

 

Requirements: 

 

A successful candidate knows  how to quote freight  in the  US  market.   

 

A  successful candidate has had experience in dispatching and has established relationship with different carriers in the  past.   

The candidate should have worked  for a  freight  brokerage/carrier based in the  US. 

 

Must be Filipino citizen based in US with valid working permit.

Purchasing Manager / Buyer Needed for a Leading Food Service Supply Chain Company located in Miami, FL
 
My client is a not-for-profit independent leading supply chain management cooperative, formed for the purpose of leveraging the volume of food chain restaurants within the US to achieve a cost effective and efficient supply chain for its members and purchasing agent for global food chain’s distribution and product services.
 
They now have an immediate need for a Senior Buyer / Purchasing Manager; who will report directly to the Director of Purchasing. Candidates MUST have 3-5 years experience from within the Food Service Industry in a similar role to be considered for this position.
 
The Buyer/Purchasing Manager has responsibility for ensuring a continuous supply of assigned products at the best cost to my client’s restaurant system. 
 
The Buyer/Purchasing Manager will work closely with the Director of Purchasing to gain knowledge and understanding of professional purchasing management practices.  
 
Principal accountabilities include working with suppliers within each product category which includes evaluating volume requirements and capacities and the development of the best overall supply matrix that provides the best landed product cost at each assigned distribution center; reviewing, evaluating, and recommending suppliers in order to manage the best overall supply base; developing, proposing and implementing short and long term strategies to ensure the continued success and growth of my client.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Managing relationships with assigned suppliers.
Providing a continuous supply of competitively priced products on a regular and timely basis.
Negotiating with suppliers for each assigned product category.  This includes the development of supply matrixes that provide for the best landed product cost at each assigned distribution center.
Developing and implementing objectives for assigned product categories.
Establishing and monitoring vendor capacity/distribution capabilities to insure that all quality, cost and service expectations are met.
Conducting regular performance, business and financial reviews of those suppliers that have an existing supply agreement or of those which are being considered as a new supplier.
Working with the Promotions Planning department to ensure a new product from rollout or a successful inventory depletion of an existing product.
Negotiating and executing terms of agreement between my client and suppliers for new and existing products under the direct supervision of the Director of Purchasing.
Participating in development teams to facilitate the introduction of new products.
Communicating marketing activities to appropriate suppliers.
This position has no direct reports.  .
Preparing and presenting all purchasing programs to my client’s Board of Directors’ Food & Packaging Committee.
